The Pulse

A rhythmic intensification of Nevril output occurring at a consistent 42-second interval across all seven Cores simultaneously.

Every Core in Origor emits a rhythmic intensification of its Nevril output — a peak at a consistent 42-second interval, followed by gradual fade, followed by the next peak. This rhythm is perfectly consistent across all seven Cores regardless of their distance from each other.

What It Is

The Pulse is not an event. It is an ongoing, continuous rhythm — the Nevril equivalent of a heartbeat. Each Core pulses at the same interval. The interval has been measured, independently, by at least four factions. None of them have compared their measurements.

How Each Faction Knows It

Verdant Dome — called the Waldatem (forest breath). Taught to every cultivator as their first skill. You learn to feel it before you learn to shape wood. The interval is treated as a fact of nature, like the length of a day. No cultivator has ever questioned where it comes from.

Molten Scar — felt as the Caldera's minor rhythmic pulse, transmitted through the volcanic shelf. Military marching cadence is timed to it. Soldiers absorb it before they learn words for it. Chronicler Rael has noted in her private records that the standard marching interval matches this rhythm exactly. She has not published the observation.

Frozen Silence — called the Cadence. Documented in the most precise measurement archive maintained anywhere in Origor, listed alongside seismic data and atmospheric readings. Used to calibrate all timing instruments in Ewigeis. The interval is known precisely. No one thinks about where it originates. Reliable things are not remarkable.

Mountain Plateaus — noted as an unexplained vibration in the Basalt, listed in geological records without interpretation. Seismographers include it in standard data sets.

Gilded Void — SOLAR crystals fully charged at the Sun Spire pulse at this interval. Documented in crystal-trade quality standards as the authentication marker for genuine full-charge product. Used daily. No one has asked why it is what it is.

Seeping Fen — not documented in public records. The deep-bog measurement instruments pick it up in NEKRO Nevril concentration readings.

Chromatic Pastures — the Annual Harmonie ritual documents that after the community-wide harmony event, the Prism's output is elevated for approximately 42 seconds. The archive annotation reads: "The fragment responds." No further interpretation.

Thalvori — the Neutral Archives scholars know it. They have not published their findings.

The Hearthstone Exception

The Hearthstone does not pulse. This has been noted once in a Neutral Archives measurement comparison. The entry reads: "no measurable output. No pulse." The observation is followed by no interpretation.

The Mirror Anomaly

In the Frozen Silence's most precise environmental monitoring records: the Mirror (a KRYO Iceborn) has been measured, on multiple occasions, producing temperature fluctuations at a regular interval. The interval matches the Cadence exactly. The measurements are filed in the seismic data alongside standard Cadence readings. No one has compared the two columns.

No Published Cross-Faction Comparison

As of the current game timeline, no faction has compared its own measurement of the Pulse with any other faction's. The data exists in at least four separate archives, under four different names, in four different units of measure. The interval is the same. No one knows it is the same.
